HOPE HAS COME

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

FLOWERS OF THE FIELD

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers,the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?”/Ps 8:4-5

”And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?”/Matt 6:28-30

Impossi…NO! It’s possible

THE POWER OF GRACE

”But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

When I fall,
I fall into your everlasting arms
You uphold me

I don’t have to have it all toghether
You hold me toghether

I don’t have to be strong
You are strong

I can shake off those heavy burdens
No need of them on my shoulders

Lighter, I can see clearly;

You carry me
So I can be carefree, in the care of God.

You remind me:
”Do not be afraid, I will never leave you. I will never forsake you.

My thoughts and plans for you are only good, I have a future and a hope for you.”

I trust you. You are my saviour, healer, shepherd and friend.

STREAMS OF LIVING WATER

”The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad, the desert shall rejoice and blossom;like the crocus it shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice with joy and singing.””For waters shall break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert;the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water;”Isaiah 35:1, 6

”Let anyone who is thirsty come to me, and let the one who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, ‘Out of the believer’s heart shall flow rivers of living water.” /Jesus John 7:37

WHERE MY STRENGHT COMES FROM

”He gives power to the faint,
and strengthens the powerless.

Even youths will faint and be weary,
and the young will fall exhausted;

but those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength,
they shall mount up with wings like eagles,
they shall run and not be weary,
they shall walk and not faint.”
/Isaiah 40:27-30

Many of us thinks that strenght comes from being buzy and doing stuff. But sloooowly I’m starting to realize that it is the opposite. It’s only in the stillness, before God, when I lay my burdens and all my striving down, I find my strenght, true peace, rest, lightness, hope, joy, love and life.

”Come to me all you who are weary,
and I will give you rest.”

THE GREATEST GIFT

”For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give.”Romans 8:32

”For this is how much God loved the world—he gave his one and only, unique Son as a gift.So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life.”John 3:16

God made it so simple that even children can believe. You need only to say ”Yes, I believe in you Jesus” Open your heart and recieve.

GRACE AND PEACE

”Your love, Lord, reaches to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the skies.

Your righteousness is like the highest mountains,
your justice like the great deep.

You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.
How priceless is your unfailing love, O God!
People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.

They feast on the abundance of your house;
you give them drink from your river of delights.

When everything around me is shaking.
Your grace and peace covers me.
Fullness of mercy, kindness and love,
ever flowing from your heart.
Like streams of grace, pouring down on us.
